Laughs resound from the halls
Their senseless words form discordant sounds
A mutilated cacophony

Syllables stretch in wavelengths unhearable but to the deaf

Watch their mouths for the answers
But they form unformable shapes
An impossible dichotomy
Of noise in a soundless tomb

An unexplainable sensation
Only spoken in words without existence
Like voices of the sirens
Treading deathly noise upon me

No! Their commotion burying me
Suffocating cacophony

Suffocating, the weight of sound
The vile syllabic symphony

My screams muffled by black tape
They’re castrating my vocal cords
Laying in a desert of silence
With any lifeforms only far away

Life around belies me
The stillness of silence binding
